Alan Colvin was born 9/4/62. He started playing guitar in High School in Orlando Florida, where he played in a few garage bands. In the early to mid eighties he played rhythm guitar for a local band ONYX, where they entered in a few Battle of the Bands walking away with 1^st and 3^rd place honors. After 8 ½ yrs in the US Army stationed at Ft. Bragg N.C. Where he jumped out of airplanes with the 82^nd  Airborne, and the 18^th Airborne Corps. He moved to Canyon Lake, Tx. Where he met Michael Knust (formerly of Fever Tree) Who became his best friend, brother, and mentor. They formed a few bands together where he played bass and guitar ( The Mars Project, Scam’n, 5’s a Crowd, and Lost Cause ) they played in and around the state of Texas, to standing room only crowds.  After recording a new CD, Lost Cause split up and Alan moved back to Orlando Florida. Shortly after moving to Orlando he met Matt Godwin, and they played for Kid-Wicked, Ghost Dance, and The Long Riders Band. Due to personality, and creative differences Alan, Matt & Frank formed their own band Repeat Offender.
